Extreme Encounters
Camp is designed to help campers grow in their relationship with Jesus. We do this by taking them out of their comfort zone in order to sharpen attitudes and life priorities. As campers live out in God’s creation they are wowed by nature, slowed down to improve listening skills, stretched to learn how to understand others, shown healthy conflict resolve, and refreshed by creative problem solving. We hope every camper has a life changing experience, a God encounter, an Extreme Encounter.
As campers eyes are opened to the benefits of a servant’s heart and the impact of selfless leadership they go away changed. Campers that experience positive change are more likely to become change agents everywhere they go in everything they do. It is a great joy for camp to make a positive change in the lives of campers, families, communities, and beyond.
